From a Singapore technology company to fourteen brands across Asia.
Founded on 15 April 2003 in Singapore by Prabjeet Singh Anand and Surjit Singh, A&B Group has grown from a single technology entity into a two-pillar holding company spanning HR technology, AI, construction, engineering, and immigration services.
The group's flagship platform, PeopleCentral, has served more than 1,000 Singapore companies and 100,000 employees since 2008. In 2007, Recruitment Central extended the group into RPO and workforce outsourcing. In 2009, Advanced and Best Construction brought the group into government infrastructure. By 2013, three more engineering entities had been incorporated.
The HR technology pillar continued to expand with GoHRBPO, HireCentral, ReimburseMe, and EngageCentral. The group now holds ISO 27001 certification, IMDA Productivity Solutions Grant pre-approval, and MINDEF Tech Gateway accreditation. In 2024 and 2025, the group won 8 HRTech Awards Asia recognitions across 5 categories plus the Singapore Entrepreneur 100 Award, for 9 recognitions in total.

People Central Pte Ltd is founded in Singapore on 15 April 2003. A&B Group starts as a technology company built around HR and payroll software.
ChequePro launches, the group's first global software success, later reaching 250,000+ businesses across 50+ countries.
Recruitment Central Pte Ltd is incorporated, extending the group into recruitment and staffing.
Advanced and Best Construction Pte Ltd is incorporated, taking the group into construction and infrastructure projects.
PeopleCentral earns ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management.
ChequeGuru launches, built for the Indian banking market.

Engage Central Pte Ltd is incorporated on 13 August 2024 as the group's dedicated AI entity. Employer of Record services launch. The group wins four recognitions at the HRTech Awards Asia.
